Ruxton Mill

Ruxton Mill, dating from the seventeenth century, has been
converted from a Cider Mill and Granary, to give very comfortable
and attractive accommodation.
Lounge/Kitchen
The 40 foot lounge, on the first floor, has a luxury kitchen
at the one end, containing: cooker, microwave, dishwasher, fridge/freezer,
washer/dryer. There are many exposed beams, a multifuel stove
and oil fired central heating.
Downstairs are three bedrooms
Bedroom 1 - Double bed, ensuite shower and toilet facilities
Bedroom 2 - Double bed, wash basin, and patio doors leading
to the garden Bedroom 3 - A small bedroom with two three foot
bunk beds (suitable for adults as well as children), and wash
basin There is also a separate bathroom and toilet on the ground
floor.
The accommodation is carpeted throughout, except for the kitchen
area.
Bedlinen, towels, electricity and oil are included. Guests
may use the garden and patio area.
Ruxton is an ideal centre for a walking or touring holiday.
Fishing available on approximately 80 yards of the River Wye.
Golf and horse riding facilities are within easy reach. Public
transport is available from Hoarwithy village, to both Ross-on-Wye
and Hereford. Parking is off the road near the Mill. The local
pub and post office are within half a mile. Other pubs offering
meals are within two miles. The nearest local shop is about
three to four miles away at Wormelow. We are easy to reach from
the M50, and are located about 5 miles from Ross-on-Wye and
8 miles from Hereford. Please note that we ask guests not to
smoke in the Mill.
