Bed and breakfast at Ruxton Farm
Guests are given a warm welcome to Ruxton Farm, which dates
from the seventeenth century. Very comfortable accomodation
is provided in large airy rooms: we have 2 double bedded rooms
and one twin bedded room. All have en-suite shower and toilet
facilities.
The separate lounge has a colour television and a wood burning
stove. There are many exposed beams and a seventeenth century
staircase leading from the hall to the galleried landing. Guests
dine in the hall. Tea and coffee is available in all bedrooms.
Ruxton is an ideal centre for a walking or touring holiday.
Fishing available on approximately 80 yards of the River Wye.
Golf and horse riding facilities are within easy reach. Public
transport is available from Hoarwithy village, to both Ross-on-Wye
and Hereford. Parking is off the road near the house. The local
pub and post office are within half a mile. Other pubs offering
meals are within two miles. The nearest local shop is about
three to four miles away at Wormelow. We are easy to reach from
the M50, and are located about 5 miles from Ross-on-Wye and
8 miles from Hereford.
Please note that we ask guests not to smoke in the house.
