Rock House was built of old red sandstone about 250 years ago, and has exposed oak beams. It is situated on a traditional farm in the hamlet of Carey in an area of outstanding natural beauty, 7 miles from the market town of Ross-on-Wye and 9 miles from the city of Hereford. The River Wye is a few minutes walk away as is the olde worlde "Cottage of Content" with its meals and liquid refreshment. The shop and Post Office at Holme Lacy are 41/2 miles away. Ample car parking space as available at both cottages.
